A bill of lading, commonly referred to as a BOL, is a legal document between the shipper of goods and the carrier detailing the type, quantity, and destination of the goods being carried. The bill of lading also serves as a receipt of shipment when the goods are delivered at the predetermined destination.
Bills of Lading business forms can be printed digitally or offset. Often times, they are printed with consecutive numbers in the top corner. You can also choose to print multi part bills of lading. These are printed on carbonless form stock and allow the writing on the form to transfer through all 2 parts, 3 parts, 4 parts, or 5 parts. You can fill the Bills of Lading out manually or you could use a Bills of Lading printer (i.e. a laser printer or dot matrix).
You can create a custom bills of lading form by including your company name, address, and logo at the top. If you have artwork prepared, click the “Request a Quote” button to get started.
